Therapy

I am so glad you are considering therapy for your child, yourself, or your family. You all deserve to have people on your side, thinking, collaborating, and supporting you as you navigate life's challenges. I would love to join your team. For additional details, including fees for services, please visit therapy section of my FAQ page.

Child Therapy

I specialize in helping children ages 3-11 express and integrate the uncomfortable thoughts, emotions, and sensations that lead to nervous system dysregulation and problematic behaviors. I can address anxiety, aggression, grief, depression, school stress, divorce, family conflict, gender identity, neurodivergence, and other issues.

Therapy with children is more effective when parents are actively involved in treatment. Depending on the age of the child and therapeutic goals, caregivers participate in play therapy sessions and/or meet with me for dedicated parenting support. I can also help parents collaborate with schools and other providers to meet a child's unique needs.

My office is located on North Capitol Hill in Seattle. I have a dedicated playroom with a sand tray, art supplies, puppets, tumbling mats, toys, games, and other child-appropriate therapeutic materials.

Family Therapy

In family therapy, I work with two or more family members at a time to strengthen relationships, improve communication, decrease reactvity, and more. Using interventions taken from some of the best traditions in systemic family therapy, I can help families with a wide variety of struggles.

Individual Therapy

I offer in-person and online counseling to adults who, because of their past experiences and/or current circumstances, struggle to parent in the way they would like. I can address anxiety, depression, anger/reactivity, grief, and feelings of isolation, powerlessness, and overwhelm, among other things. My approach is humanistic, systemic, and heart-centered. While I draw from an ecclectic array of interventions, tailored to each individual, one of my strengths is holding space for healing through emotional expression.
